I built my first software product on July 26, 2011. It was an SEO tool called Backlink Cloner.
At the time, SEO felt like guesswork. Most people had opinions. Very few had proof.
Instead of guessing, Backlink Cloner analyzed top-ranking websites and showed exactly where their backlinks came from. It was built around a simple idea: stop relying on theory and start following evidence.
That lesson stayed with me.
